When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit and the website that referred you to us.

When you place an order, we collect the information needed to complete it. This includes your first and last name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if provided), the items you ordered and your payment information. Payment details are processed directly by our secure payment providers. We do not store your full card details.

When you contact us by email, phone or through our contact form, we collect the information you share with us, such as your name, email address and the content of your message.

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address and, if you choose to share it, your name.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

To process, ship and deliver your order and to send you order and shipping confirmations.

To handle returns, refunds, exchanges and complaints.

To answer your questions and provide customer support.

To send you our newsletter and offers, but only if you have given your consent.

To keep our website secure, working properly and free from fraud or misuse.

To improve our website, products and service based on how visitors use our shop.

To meet our legal obligations, for example under tax and accounting law.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

We only process your personal data when we have a legal basis to do so. Depending on the situation, this is:

The performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), when we need your data to process and deliver your order or respond to your request before a purchase.

Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), for example for our newsletter or for non essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), for example keeping invoices and order records for tax purposes.

Our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), for example keeping our website secure, preventing fraud and improving our service.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We never sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted partners when this is necessary to run our shop and fulfil your order. These include:

Payment providers, who securely process your payment.

Shipping carriers and logistics partners, who need your name, address and sometimes your email or phone number to deliver your parcel and keep you updated.

Our website and shop platform provider, which hosts our website and stores order data.

Email service providers, which help us send order updates and, if you have subscribed, our newsletter.

Tax advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to share information.

All of our partners are carefully selected and are only allowed to use your data for the purposes we specify. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

COOKIES

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the website to work, for example to keep items in your shopping cart and to complete checkout. Other cookies help us understand how visitors use our site or allow us to show you relevant advertising.

We only use non essential cookies, such as analytics and marketing cookies, after you have given your consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on our website or by adjusting your browser settings. Please note that blocking certain cookies may affect how our website works.

NEWSLETTER

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will send you news about new arrivals, offers and styling ideas. We use a double opt in process, which means you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter or by emailing us at support@koruwins.com.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We only keep your personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. Order and invoice data is kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law. Customer service messages are deleted once your request has been fully handled, unless we need to keep them for legal reasons. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and alteration. Our website uses SSL encryption, which you can recognise by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar. Payment information is always transmitted in encrypted form.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you.

The right to have incorrect data corrected.

The right to have your data deleted, unless we are legally required to keep it.

The right to data portability, meaning you can receive your data in a common, machine readable format.

The right to object to the processing of your data based on our legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time.

The right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, simply email us at support@koruwins.com. We will respond to your request within one month.

RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT

If you believe that we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. As a customer in Germany, you may also contact the data protection authority of your German federal state.

MINORS

Our shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
