OUR STORY

 

Koruwins started in early 2025 in Nazareth, a small town just outside Ghent in Belgium. It began with a simple frustration that our founder, Claudia Jo de Baets, kept running into. Her wardrobe was full, yet every morning she felt like she had nothing to wear. Too many pieces only worked for one outfit or one occasion, and too few could carry her from a regular weekday to a dinner out or a family celebration.

 

So she decided to build the kind of shop she always wished existed. In January 2025, Koruwins was officially registered, and what started at a kitchen table in Nazareth slowly grew into the online store you see today at koruwins.com.

 

WHAT WE OFFER

 

At Koruwins we focus on women's clothing that actually works in real life. You will find stylish tops, cosy sweaters, jackets, coats and matching sets, all chosen with one question in mind: can you wear this in more than one way?

 

Our pieces are meant to be mixed and matched. A sweater that looks relaxed with jeans on a Saturday should look just as good tucked into a skirt for a birthday lunch. A coat should keep you warm on the school run and still feel right over a dressier outfit in the evening. We would rather you own fewer things that you truly love and reach for again and again.

 

HOW WE CHOOSE OUR PIECES

 

Every item in our collection is picked by hand. We look closely at the fabric, the fit and the details, and we ask ourselves whether we would wear it ourselves. If the answer is no, it does not make it into the shop.

 

We also keep a close eye on how pieces work together. Many of our tops, knitwear and outerwear are selected so they pair easily with each other, which makes it simple to build complete looks without starting from scratch every season.

We are still a small, independent business, and we like it that way. Being small means we can stay close to our customers, listen to what you tell us and keep improving with every new collection. Our goal has never changed since day one: to help women feel comfortable, confident and put together, whether it is an ordinary Tuesday or a moment worth dressing up for.
